John 1:14

“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth”.

The Word of God declares, and makes clear that there is only one God; This declaration is revealed in Isaiah 44:6, by God himself, when he spoke to the children of Israel by his Prophet, Isaiah:  “Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me”

Nehemiah 9:6 also reveals:

“You alone are the LORD, you have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their host, The earth and all that is on it, The seas and all that is in them You give life to all of them And the heavenly host bows down before You”.

1 Chronicles 29:11-12

1 Chronicles 29:11-12 reveals that God is above all earthly kings, rulers and masters; He is the omnipotent God, because his powers are unlimited; hence, God by the power of his Holy Spirit, allows our human spirit to witness this infallible truth, by the power of the Prophetic and powerful works.

This prophetic revelation in our spirit, by his Word, goes through to completely destroy every lie, and every doubt that the devil has told man, thus removing the spiritual scales from our eyes which had blinded us from the truth, by the revelation power of God.

“But as it is, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual”.

(1 Corinthians 2:9-13)

God Commands the Earthly Elements!

“Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar, the Lord of hosts is his name” (Jeremiah 31:35)

God is Omnipresent –

for he’s everywhere at the same time;

God is Omniscient

for he sees all and knows all. God, he is master of all, and who can fathom this great God?  for he’s pass finding out; but blessed be God, he is revealing mysteries through his Holy Spirit. Let us reflect on the mercies of God, and thank him, that we are able to experience the incredible revelations of God, by his Holy spirit in Jesus name.

Why should we acknowledge God?

Answer: we are his children, and “As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him; 14 for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust”. Psalms 13-14

The Spiritual Realm:

The spiritual dimension of God’s creation, unseen by human eyes.

In this dimension of God’s creation, there exist two spiritual realities: a. God’s Spiritual Kingdom of light and righteousness, and b. the evil spiritual realm of sin and darkness, where the devil and the fallen angels, with their evil forces are operating.

When we as a society or person, encounter anything evil, such as disasters, evil occurrences and encounters, be aware that this is a direct result of evil spiritual forces at work.

It is paramount for all Christians, and all of God’s children to recognise evil occurrences for what it is, and fight against it by the power of prayer and faith in God and his Son Jesus. It must be done with a genuine heart of seeking God, coupled by the power and protection of God, which only comes through faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God.

However in the spiritual realm of Light and Glory, the angels of God, whom we cannot see, give glory to God. In this realm exist God’s throne, heavenly places, Peace, Love, Holiness, and the Glory and Power of God, which is eternal.

Note, despite the weakness of man due to sin, God allows those who have accepted Jesus Christ, through the Power of the Holy Spirit to experience this spiritual glory of God in their lives; but this can only happen through faith, or during transformation, or through the encountering of the visitation of God.
And through this association with God and his Son, we can go through to encounter and experience the Awesome Power of God.

Facts: only through Jesus can we experience the life changing transition from the earthly spiritual realm of sin, darkness and spiritual blindness…

Why is this?

Answer: We are limited to the earthly things, hence we humans cannot go beyond the flesh to experience the spiritual things of God, because they are spiritually discerned, Why is this ? Answer: We are spiritually dead to God.

Corinthians 2:14

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”.

However, faith in Jesus Christ, and the increase of knowledge and understanding through his word, will bring spiritual awareness of God coupled with spiritual growth. please see:

2 Peter 1:3-8

By the Spirit of God we are made alive spiritually

“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved”.

So by the life of the Spirit through Jesus Christ, we are able to live by the spirit of God’s word; Hence, experiencing the presence and spiritual power of God, in which we experience the opening of our spiritual eyes to God. Thereby receiving strength by the power of God to overcome the world of sin.

The Prophet, John the Baptist –

the God assigned forerunner for Jesus Christ, who had an anointed, Powerful calling to prepare the people for Jesus’s arrival. He proclaimed at the sighting of Jesus “Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world” (John 1:29).

All was prepared for the coming of Jesus, both on earth, and in Heaven. Prophets prophesied, foretelling the powerful works ahead, in terms of his coming, death, and resurrection, and how the lamb of God the son of God, would fulfil God’s will to save his children from their sins.  See ref. Matthew 1:21

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but [made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippines 2:5-11

Calvary or Golgotha – the site outside ancient Jerusalem, where Jesus died for our sins.

Golgotha is Aramaic word, translated “the place of the skull”.

Jesus was accused of breaking the laws of Moses which greatly contributed to his crucifixion; but note, Jesus never broke any of the laws, all that Jesus did was tell the truth and expose the sins that was prevalent amongst the religious scribes and pharisees. See Scriptures below, where Jesus spoke against them:

 Matthew 23: 13-15

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.

15 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves”.

Jesus also worked powerful miracles in the midst of them, through powerful healings, and the raising of the dead, which they were not able to do themselves;

He also exposed their hypocrisies which resulted in their shaming; In this the Scribes and Pharisees showed great opposition towards Jesus. All this because of the revelation of God’s Word which was revealed to them, which they couldn’t except because of the darkness of their hearts.

These religious leaders became angry and secretly planned their lying accusations, which ultimately led to Jesus been put to death; See reference to this:

Matthew 12:14

but God his Father had already prepared that his Son Jesus would take on the sins of the whole world, thus paying the price for our iniquities, wherein he would suffer persecution, and be put to death; But in victory he would be raised to life, three days after his crucifixion.

The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again, 18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father”  (John 10:17-18)

His persecutors nailed him to the cross, and publicly executed him; But his death was powerfully significant and profound. For the whole objective of the sacrifice, in which Jesus Christ gave his life for a ransom for our sins, was to pay the ransom price, which only he could pay.

A perfect sacrifice was required, therefore nothing that was sinful could be presented to God. Only Jesus could fill this requirement. For Jesus was not conceived of a man, but by the Holy Spirit power, which came upon Mary, the woman chosen by God, to bring forth Jesus. Therefore Jesus had no sin.

Jesus himself presented himself the perfect Lamb of God, for the sins of all humanity.
This was done by the sacrificial offering of his body, in which his blood atoned for the sins of every man. “And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin” (1 John 3:5).

 See reference scriptures below:

“For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say , whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven” (Colossions 1:19-20).

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit” (1 Peter 3:18)

“And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals; one on the right hand and the other on the left” (Luke 23:33)

Jesus arose from the dead 3 days after his death, conquering death for all mankind, so that we will enter into life eternal through faith in Jesus Christ.

Ref. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

We are no longer slaves to sin

For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. (Romans 6:5-6)

“And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead” Romans 1:4.

NOTE, Jesus the Sacrificial Lamb, in which the guilt and penalty of sin was atoned for, was the uttermost demonstration of God’s divine love and mercies towards us all.

However, it must be highlighted, how important it is that the individual who wants to experience the wonder working Power of God in his life, that he prepared to present his body a living sacrifice; this is achieved by his decision to turn from sin, and to embrace the righteousness of God, in order to experience the atoning Power of the Blood of Jesus Christ in his life.

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5)

Colossians 1:21 makes clear that we are alienated and separated from God due to sin; and because of this separation we are unable to approach God. But by the mercies of God through Jesus Christ, we can now boldly come into God’s presence to offer praises, worship, and to pray without the guilt of sin;

According to Hebrews 10:19 we now have confidence to enter that Holy place, by the Blood of Jesus

“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2:13).

Hence we are no longer separated from God, because of the power of reconciliation, in which Jesus laid down his life for our sins nailing it to the cross by his crucifixion.

Acknowledging God with repentance is the key that turns the heart of God; God is merciful to listen to those who cry out for mercy and deliverance.

The Lord God knew even before creation that man was going to fail him, nevertheless his love had prepared for what was going to happen. His Great divine plan and purpose was already in the pipework of mercy, this was done for the purpose of helping mankind to get out of all the trouble, which was to come due to the fall.

However, the Lord God could of simply decided against creating man, eradicating all that he had planned; but his redemptive plan for mankind was already foremost in his mind.

Let us be reminded, that the Lord is the omniscient God who knows all things, he knew every individual before they were created flesh and blood, and he  loved us even then. See reference below:

Jeremiah 1:5

The omniscient God who knows all things, had prepared for the fall, even in the face of the provocation which was to come. God’s love for his children far exceeded human comprehension, so great was this love that he still proceeded to create us and give us life, even in the face of that dilemma, which was ahead.

“O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. 4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether.  5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it” (Psalms 139:1-6).

The Sovereign God knew that man’s heart would become sinful, but he still proceeded to carefully create us and to declare all his creation good. God saw all that he had made, and it was very good, (ref. Genesis 1:31).

His Grace and Mercies outweighed his anger towards sin. MERCY SAID NO to the total annihilation of man, which was to come due to sin.

“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” ( Isaiah 1:18)

Before we are washed in the blood of JESUS through faith, we are all sinners;  “sinners” simply means we do not meet up to the standards of God’s righteousness; but through the mercies of God, a way of escape was made, even though we’ve done nothing to deserve it.

God expresses his love for us in Jeremiah 29:11:  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of pea ce, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”.

2 Chronicles 7:14 further reveals the mercies of God “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”.

God’s great mercies are revealed to all the world through his Love, which is shown towards the righteous and the ungodly. Although man went against God’s supreme order, God’s tender mercies and loving kindness superseded the curse which was pronounced on man. His mercies set a precedent that would set on course great interventions, powers and the Might of God to turn that which had become evil, filthy, spoilt, lost, unclean, rebellious, dark, and degenerative back to its original state of holiness.

The Conclusion of the Matter

Psalms 51:5 states the condition of man: “I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me”.

They who are born of a woman and a man are born tainted by sin; hence we humans cannot simply wash it away with soap and water or by repentance by word of mouth only, why

Answer: we are spiritually tainted from the core of our spirit, and only through the power of the Blood of Jesus, through the divine work of the Holy Spirit can we receive cleansing.

Jesus Christ the Son Of God , The only way to God, No man can come to the father but through Him.

The Good News: Jesus paid it all, He paid the ransom price for our sins.  He paid it that we may have peace for our souls.  You don’t have to pay for your mistakes, you don’t have to pay the penalty for breaking the laws.  Jesus paid it all when he died on the cross for our sins.

He took on the sins of the whole world and became the ultimate sacrifice for all our transgressions. This is the gift of GOD, thus redeeming us from destruction.

We must Repent and be baptized in Jesus name for the remissions of our sins.

The blood of Jesus is required to cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. Henceforth there is no more sacrifice for sins.

He arose from the dead, so that we may have life through the power of his resurrection.

When the Lord appears, they that are faithful will receive Eternal Life.

Let us “praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion” (Psalms 103:2-4).

Let us “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations”. (Psalms 100:4-5)

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:28-30). AMEN
